At the I-CAR Tech Centre, we receive many calls each week on various vehicle makes and models looking for structural repair information. Below is a list of some common vehicles that we receive questions on, along with sectioning and repair procedures recommended by the vehicle maker or Tech-Cor. In some instances, there are no recommendations. Therefore, it is a business decision between the insurer, repairer, and customer to determine how the vehicle should be repaired. 1998-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier

2000–2003 Ford Focus

Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee

There are no sectioning procedures for the Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee. Please note that Chrysler has stated that their parts should not be sectioned unless there is a:

  • written procedure from Chrysler.
  • specific part distributed by Chrysler (Mopar) as a partial component rather than a complete stamping.
