HONDA/ACURA POSITION STATEMENT ON SECTIONING AND USE OF ADHESIVES October 25, 2004 -Honda/Acura has released a position paper that clarifies sectioning procedures and where adhesives can be used. The statements make it clear that repairs must be at factory seams unless stated otherwise in Honda/Acura body repair manuals. Adhesives can only be used if a panel was bonded with adhesives at the factory. Body repair manuals are available for every Honda and Acura sold in the United States, both in print and online.
