FORD MASTERS PROGRAM A SHOWCASE FOR I-CAR ENHANCED DELIVERY
The Masters Program is structured into four specialty areas: collision repair, alignment and mechanical, refinishing, and structural repair. The training plan to achieve Light Repair Master in the collision repair specialty area consists exclusively of I-CAR Enhanced Delivery programs. The training plan includes Worker Protection Program 1, Tools And Equipment Program 1, Welding And Cutting Steel Programs 15, Welding And Cutting Aluminum Programs 13, Corrosion Protection Program 1, Fundamentals Of Collision Repair Program 1, Damage Analysis Programs 14, Adhesive Bonding Program 1, Trim And Hardware Program 1, Straightening Steel Program 1, Straightening Aluminum Program 1, Exterior Panel Repair And Replacement Steel And Plastic Programs 12, Exterior Panel Repair And Replacement Aluminum Programs 12, Plastic Repair Programs 12, and Movable And Stationary Glass Programs 12. The training plan of programs to achieve Light Repair Master in the refinishing specialty area consists of two paint maker specialty programs. I-CAR Enhanced Delivery programs make up the rest of the training plan. All of the I-CAR refinishing programs, 16, are included. This includes the Refinishing Qualification Test (Program 6). Also included are Worker Protection Program 1, Tools And Equipment Program 1, Corrosion Protection Program 1 and all of the Damage Analysis Programs. The training plan of programs to achieve Heavy Repair Master in the structural repair specialty area includes even more I-CAR Enhanced Delivery programs, including the Structural Parts Steel Qualification Test (Program 5) and the Structural Parts Aluminum Qualification Test (Program 5). Ford dealer technicians will be attending I-CAR Enhanced Delivery programs just like anyone else would be taking I-CAR training, through I-CARs existing class delivery system with I-CAR Instructors. They will use the same curriculum, have the same registration process, experience the same inter-industry classroom experience and take the same program post-tests and qualification tests, as well as receive the most up-to-date training in collision repair. |
