I-CAR AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS

BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA – February 8, 2008 – Following the continued expansion and development of I-CAR training across Australia, the I-CAR Board at its December meeting approved the appointment of two additional members.

I-CAR Australia CEO Richard Pratt announced the appointment of Mr. Paul Galea, Director of Sales and Marketing Refinish – PPG Industries, and Mr. David Brown, Head of Claims and Assessing and Product Underwriting – IAG, to join the seven inaugural Board members.

Mr. Pratt stated, “Both these gentlemen join the Board as representatives of their particular industry segments and bring to the I-CAR Board additional management skills which will enhance what is already an experienced Board, managing this rapidly developing program. They have both established quality reputations for their commitment to the industry.”

“Mr. Brown and Mr. Galea played an important role in encouraging the establishment of the I-CAR license in Australia and have been at the forefront of their companies focus on increased levels of professionalism and reform across the entire industry,” explained Mr. Pratt. “Their two year Board appointment was approved in accordance with the organization’s by-laws. Such is the expansion and the potential of the I-CAR program and training as the Board is also considering additional appointees to represent the education and research facilities as well as the motor vehicle manufacturers.”
