Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases May 12, 2003 I-CAR® INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBER ROD ENLOW AWARDED BY SOCIETY OF COLLISION REPAIR SPECIALISTS ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - May 12, 2003 - I-CAR International Board of Directors and Executive Committee Member Rod Enlow was presented with the Collision Industry Individual Service Award by the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) at their annual Corporate Awards Luncheon held April 3, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona. Through its direct members and 36 affiliate associations, SCRS is comprised of 9,000 collision repair businesses and 76,000 specialized professionals who work every day with consumers and insurance companies to repair collision-damaged vehicles. Enlow has been involved with the collision repair industry for the past 15 years and is currently serving as the Director of Auto Industry Affairs for USAA. He is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Certified Automotive Parts Associations (CAPA) Technical Committee, serves as co-chair for the CIC Parts & Airbag and Fraud Awareness Committees, pas Chairman of the Independent Auto Damage Appraisers (IADA) Advisory Board, National Auto Body Council (NABC), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) South. Tx. Board of governors, Service Technicians Society and serves on the Mitchell International and ADP Claims Solutions advisory committees. Enlow currently serves on the I-CAR Executive Committee and has served on the I-CAR International Board of Directors since 2000. "Enlows extensive background and continued involvement within the collision industry has contributed significantly toward his service on the Executive Committee," stated Tom McGee, I-CARs Executive Vice President and CEO. McGee further commented, "We are thankful for his dedication and participation in I-CAR and in his other activities that support the collision industry. We are pleased to see that SCRS has also recognized the level of contribution that Rod has made to the industry by presenting him with the Collision Industry Individual Service Award." I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
