Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases December 20, 2002 I-CAR® INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBER NICK GOJMERIC HONORED AT NACE 2002 ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - December 20, 2002 - I-CAR International Board of Directors Member Nick Gojmeric was recognized by the industry for his contributions at the Industry Night of Achievement held December 4, 2002 in Dallas, Texas. Gojmeric was awarded the Curb Appeal award given by Assured Performance Network. This award is given to those who achieve the best in business presentation and overall marketing. It was noted that Gojmerics interests focus on promoting increased professionalism in the industry by providing his clients with enhanced quality repair experiences. Nick Gojmeric, owner, president and CEO of Collision Plus Auto Body Repair Centers in Belleville, Swansea and OFallon, Illinois is a second-generation shop owner. Gojmeric started as an automotive body and refinish technician; graduated to an estimator, then to a general manager; and then moved forward to designing, supervising construction of, and implementing the start-up and continued successful operations of the three Collision Plus locations. Gojmeric is a member of the Automotive Service Association and currently serves on their Collision Division Operations Committee. He has served as a State and National Director of SCRS and as an I-CAR District Co-Chair. Gojmeric is also a member of the Ranken Technical Institute Advisory Committee, Southwestern Illinois College Advisory Committee, and Toyota Technical Education Network Advisory Committee, in addition to being a CIC Gold Pin Member. Collision Plus Auto Body Repair Centers has three state-of-the art facilities serving the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan communities and employing approximately 50 employees. Collision Plus has been recognized as an I-CAR Gold Class Professionals® facility since the programs inception in 1990. The Collision Industry Night of Achievement recognizes those businesses and individuals that are dedicated to improving the quality of repairs and the image of the industry, stated Tom McGee, I-CARs Executive Vice President and CEO.
