Current Events/News: I-CAR Press Releases September 20, 2002 I-CAR® PLASTIC REPAIR COURSE HELPS CREATE TRAINING AWARENESS IN SHOW LOW, ARIZONA ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - September 20, 2002 - I-CARs free Plastic Repair course on July 15 16, 2002 helped create training awareness in the Show Low, Arizona area. The free two-unit course, hosted at DMC Auto Rebuilders, was available to students from the local area affected by the recent forest fires and was attended by 21 industry professionals. This was the first I-CAR collision repair training course to be conducted in the Show Low, Arizona area and it has generated enthusiasm and interest in continued training. I-CAR Instructor Todd Hoffman, who conducted the class stated, "The students were very excited about the class and are looking forward to following their student training paths." Hoffman is also in the process of creating a schedule of future I-CAR courses in that area to allow for more collision repair training opportunities. After attending the Plastic Repair course, several students were so enthusiastic about continuing their collision repair training that they decided to drive five hours to attend I-CARs CR3000 courses being conducted in Scottsdale, Arizona the following weekend. The students returned to Show Low, Arizona and have started spreading information to others about I-CAR training. For more information about the free course given to Show Low, Arizona residents, contact Southwest Field Manager Jeff Peevy at jeff.peevy@i-car.com.
