CAR-O-LINER COMPANY JOINS INDUSTRY TRAINING ALLIANCE

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - December 7, 2001 - I-CAR recently announced that Car-O-Liner Company is now a member of the Industry Training Alliance. Formed by I-CAR in 2000, the Alliance brings together technical training providers to optimize the training efforts of the collision industry.

"Car-O-Liner is very excited to become a member of the Industry Training Alliance," stated Larry J. Carter, president of Car-O-Liner Company. "We look forward to working with I-CAR as well as the other members of the Alliance to bring more consistent and professional training to the industry." Carter further commented, "Making Gold Class points available through this program will also help to strengthen the relationships within our industry."

Approved training programs from Car-O-Liner Company include: Three Dimensional Mechanical Measuring – Collision Damage Analysis And Repair, Computerized Electronic Measuring – Collision Damage Analysis And Repair, and Advanced Structural Analysis And Repair – Unibody/Full Frame. Students who complete these training programs are eligible to receive four Gold Class points for each Measuring program, or six Gold Class points for Advanced Structural Analysis and Repair. Points apply toward I-CAR’s Gold Class Professionals and Platinum Individual programs.

"I am pleased to welcome Car-O-Liner to the Industry Training Alliance," stated Tom Mack, I-CAR executive vice president and chief executive officer. "As we continue to add quality technical training programs to the Alliance, students are given more options for meeting their training needs. This ultimately benefits the consumer, who deserves a safe and complete repair."

All I-CAR training resources are now available to vocational-technical schools and industry training organizations participating in the Alliance. I-CAR also maintains a database that includes student records for all Alliance training programs. In addition to Car-O-Liner, Alliance members include technical training providers Akzo Nobel Coatings, BASF Corporation, Chief Automotive Systems, DuPont Performance Coatings, Martin Senour Paints, PPG Industries, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes and Spies Hecker Inc.
