August 21, 2000 I-CAR ANNOUNCES 2000 - 2001 BOARD OF DIRECTORS (Toronto, Ontario) I-CAR announced its 2000 - 2001 Board of Directors and Executive Committee at the I-CAR International Annual Meeting in Toronto, Ontario. The Board of Directors sets the overall strategic direction for the organization and assists in obtaining resources in support of the I-CAR mission. The Board is made up of representatives from each of the following six Industry segments: Collision Repair; Insurance; Equipment, Tools, and Supplies; Education, Training, and Research; Vehicle Manufacturers; and Related Industry Services. The 2000 - 2001 Executive Committee consists of: Chair, Rick E. Tuuri, ADP/Claims Solutions Group; Vice Chair, Roger Foss, Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc.; Treasurer, Timothy M. Clark, Professional Collision Group; Secretary, Gene Hamilton, Sports and Imports for Society of Collision Repair Specialists; and Board Member, Nick Notte, Allstate Insurance Company. As a result of the Bylaws change approved at the July 28th Membership Meeting, the Chairman and Vice Chairman are no longer limited to serving only one term in office. The Board also includes 16 Directors: Jack R. Aho, General Motors Corporation - Service Operations; Michael J. Davis, State Farm Insurance Co., Director-At-Large; Rod Enlow, USAA; Terry M. Fortner, Nationwide Insurance Enterprise; Rodney M. Kohlhepp, Madison Area Technical College; Jerry Kottschade, Jerrys Body Shop for Automotive Service Association; Will Kukelko, Manitoba Public Insurance, Canada Representative; George Laurie, iSalvage.com; Bill Lawrence, Caliber Collision Centers, Education Foundation Representative; Joran Olsson, Pro Spot International Inc. for Equipment & Tool Institute; Steven Przybylo, Nissan North America, Inc.; Kelly Roe, Cartys Collision Center; Lyndsay Smits, L.J. Smits Ltd., New Zealand Representative; Edward T. Staquet, Lord Corporation; Ronnie Swygert, Greenwood County Career Center; and Roger Wright, Collision Team of America. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
