October 4, 1999 I-CAR ANNOUNCES PRICE ADJUSTMENT IN THE US (Rolling Meadows, IL) I-CAR announced that it will adjust the prices of its courses in the US The new prices, effective January 1, 2000 are:$55 per I-CAR Discount Coupon for Gold Class businesses Purchasing I-CAR Discount Coupons provides substantial cost savings of $15 per student unit for Gold Class businesses and $10 for non-Gold Class businesses. Coupons purchased at the current price (pre-January 1, 2000) will continue to be honored at all I-CAR courses until the expiration date on the coupon. Tom Mack, the Executive Vice President of I-CAR, stated that "I-CAR held the line on any price increases for a number of years. However, like all businesses, I-CAR's costs of doing business have risen with inflation and the addition of new programs and services. Currently, I-CAR is introducing a totally new set of Enhanced Delivery training programs and is upgrading internal support systems. In order to cover these development and implementation costs, it has become necessary to raise prices slightly. Relative to other comparable training programs, I-CAR Training remains an exceptional value. I-CAR is able to offer this exceptional value because of the efforts of its dedicated Volunteers and its focus on achieving its mission, as a not-for-profit organization serving the Collision Industry." I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
