August 11, 1999 I-CAR HIRES LORENE LOMBARDI AS THE NEW SOUTH PACIFIC REGIONAL MANAGER (Rolling Meadows, IL) Lorene Lombardi has been hired as I-CAR's new South Pacific Regional Manager. In her new position, she will be responsible for overseeing all activity in the South Pacific Region including class scheduling, Instructor recruiting and support, Committee formation and ongoing support. The South Pacific Region includes Hawaii, Nevada, and the majority of California. Lorene will be based in California. Lorene has several years experience in the Collision Industry. Her most recent position at ADP/Claims Solutions Group was Industry Analysis/Request for Review-Time and Motion Studies Manager. In this position she co-chaired ADP's Inter-Industry Technical Review Committee. She has actively participated in the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) and in I-CAR's UPCR Canvass Review Committee, UPCR Steering Committee, and Gold Class Steering Committee. Lorene is also a Past President of the National Auto Body Council and a member of the Contra Costa Community College Automotive Steering Committee. "I'm very pleased that Lorene has joined our team," said Dave Heckeler, I-CAR Director of Field Operations. "Her vast experience in the Industry and her previous involvement with I-CAR will be extremely helpful in her new position and will make her an asset to the organization." I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
