I-CAR COMMITTEES RECEIVE AWARDS

(Rolling Meadows, IL) I-CAR recognized state, provincial, and regional Committees within each of its seven US regions and Canada during its International Annual Meeting in Lake Buena Vista, FL, July 31 - August 2, 1998. The Goal Achievement and Superior Performer Awards were presented to the Committees that met or exceeded their goals during Fiscal 1998 (July 1, 1997 - June 30, 1998).

To earn the Goal Achievement Award, a Committee must meet or exceed the number of Student Units it commits to teach within the fiscal year. Goals are set in conjunction with Regional/National Managers.

To earn the Superior Performer Award, a Committee must have the highest percentage over goal, plus have taught every course that I-CAR had available for the fiscal year. For Fiscal 1998, those courses were Advanced Vehicle Systems; Aluminum, Repair, Replacement and Welding; Collision Repair 2000; Detailing; Electronics for Collision Repair; Finish Matching; Glass Replacement; Plastic Repair; Steering and Suspension; Workplace Hazardous Materials; and Understanding Collision Repair.

I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
