April 30, 1998 I-CAR ANNOUNCES NEW CERTIFICATES FOR COURSE COMPLETERS (Rolling Meadows, IL) In response to requests from I-CAR Students over the years, I-CAR has implemented a new system of issuing Student Certificates of Completion, which is more in line with the Industry standard. The new certificate, the Unicert, lists all of the I-CAR courses a Student has completed and the dates of completion. Each time a Student completes an I-CAR course, he or she will receive an updated Unicert, with the new course added to the list. This new Unicert was designed to benefit businesses and individuals who feel they have too many certificates, and not enough wall space to display them all. This system has been used successfully by other organizations in the Industry for many years. I-CAR will continue to offer individual certificates upon request only until June 30, 1998, or while supplies last. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
