February 27, 1998 MEMBERS OF THE I-CAR BOARD OF DIRECTORS RECEIVE INDUSTRY HONORS (Rolling Meadows, IL) Four members of the I-CAR Board of Directors were recently recognized and honored for their outstanding contributions to the Collision Industry. I-CAR Chairman Joseph Landolfi, Sentry Insurance Companies, received the President's Award from the National Auto Body Council (NABC). The award was presented at the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) meeting held before NACE, in Las Vegas, on December 3, 1997. The recipient of this award is selected by the President of the National Auto Body Council. The award is a special effort award, which recognizes an individual for their contributions to the Industry. I-CAR Directors Robert Matejzel, CARNET/PARNET; Joseph Sanders, Caliber Collision Centers; and Roger Wright, Integon Insurance Corporation were honored at a special ceremony inducting them into BodyShop Video's Hall of Eagles. The ceremony was held during the annual BodyShop Video "Night to Remember," which took place at NACE in Las Vegas on December 4, 1997. The Hall of Eagles was established in 1989 as a "Hall of Fame" for Collision Repair Industry leaders. "The award says thank you to those who pave the way and whose efforts take this Industry one step closer to excellence," said Scott Biggs, President of BodyShop Video. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
