October 31, 1997 I-CAR ANNOUNCES NEW NORTH CENTRAL REGIONAL MANAGER - LONNIE SWEDEEN (Rolling Meadows) Lonnie Swedeen is I-CAR's new North Central Regional Manager. He is responsible for overseeing all activity in the North Central Region including class scheduling, Instructor recruiting and Committee formation. The North Central Region includes Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Lonnie has been involved with I-CAR for 18 years as a Committee Volunteer. He was involved in the development of I-CAR's original 9-part Unibody course, which has now evolved into the current Collision Repair 2000 course. "Lonnie has an excellent background in all facets of the Collision Industry, and he brings a great deal of knowledge, experience and personal commitment to the position," said Dave Heckeler, Director of Marketing and Field Operations. Before joining I-CAR, Lonnie worked for Allstate Insurance Company as Pro Administrator Claims in Eden Prairie, MN. He also has experience as manager of an automotive repair business and as a collision repair technician. I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of consumers.
